This Gurkha Khukuri brooch is a beautifully crafted miniature version of the iconic Nepali blade. It features an ornate scabbard with intricate scrolling designs, paired with a small curved blade attached by a delicate chain and silver gilt face.

The Gurkha Khukuri is a very distinctive curved knife, traditionally carried by the Gurkha soldiers of Nepal. Known for its inward-sloping blade, it serves both as a practical tool and a revered symbol of bravery, discipline and heritage. Beyond its battlefield reputation, the khukuri plays an important role in daily Nepali life, from agricultural work to ceremonial use, embodying a cultural legacy that has endured for centuries.

This is a wonderful example of the knife in miniature, and would make a fantastic addition to a novelty jewellery collection.
