A scarce original WWII era pendant in support of Free French Forces (French: Forces Françaises Libres, FFL,) a French resistance movement under the leadership of Charles de Gaulle.

This pendant was made in Britain during the era of the Second World War, c. 1941.

The front shows a map of France against a background of blue and red enamel, creating an image resembling the French flag (blue, white, red.) To the centre is a red enamel Cross of Lorraine, a symbol of the Free French Forces.

To the reverse is a facsimile signature of Charles de Gaulle.

A fabulous piece of WWII memorabilia, this would make a wonderful addition to any collection or an unusual addition to a charm collection.

In really nice, vintage condition. The enamel is in good order with only some minor flaws. Please be sure to see all of the photos.

Stamped for sterling silver to the reverse.
