Antique 18ct Gold Diamond and Emerald Toi et Moi Ring 1900

A beautiful antique solid 18ct gold ring, set with a bright diamond and an emerald.

The Toi et Moi, or "you and me", is a romantic and timeless ring design. The two stones featured are in a soft twist, signifying two souls coming together.

The Toi et Moi style was hugely popular at the turn of the 20th-Century, particularly for engagement rings.

This ring has UK hallmarks for 18ct gold to the inside (slightly worn,) and is dated 1900.

An incredible example of an antique ring, from the height of the style's popularity, this would make an exceptional contemporary engagement ring.

There is a chip to a facet of the diamond, viewable under a jeweller's loupe. The emerald also has one small chip to a corner, and some marks of wear to the surface. Please be sure to see all of the photos.

The stones are well-sized. The diamond measures approximately 4mm in diameter, and the emerald is approximately 3.5mm by 3.5mm.
